I had a situation at work where a person had yelled at me on the phone and I was not very receptive to it. They called the VP and told him about the situation and he came down to our team. He was talking to my manager when I happened to walk up. He told me that I needed to calm down and not take things personally, because it wasn’t meant that way. I got upset with him and told him when someone does not like my work then I do take it personally because it is a reflection of myself that I put into my work.
