Introduction

Patient wellbeing is a primary standard of outstanding patient care and a significant constituent of health care excellence administration. In spite of success of standardization in other sector or industry, the process has been slow to increase traction or to reveal constructive effects on the safety of care. As most individual in the market ascertain that the standardization has been practical and effective in other sector then, the same concept can be applied to health sector and achieve success. Health sector is far way different from the other manufacturing sector as they attract close relationship with so many people in order to reach consensus. Under the manufacturing sector, standardization can be obtained and reveled by increase of sales, high demands for goods and increase in profitability (Chang et al, 2005). On the other hand, in healthcare sector standardization can be trick or hard as the services is very delicate and intimate and the approval for the standards will have to come from all the patient across the globe and the relevant stakeholder in the industry. With this in mind it’s very difficult and unpractical to implement standardization strategies as they apply in manufacturing to health care sector. Usually, there are vast variety of services that manufacturing organization or sector enjoy in the market without much scrutiny and critics. The manufacturing organization are able to develop a strategic advertisement or marketing program that will create awareness of the goods or brands and incorporate most of the beneficial news and limits the drawbacks in order to a track more customers. These advertisements enables the organization to achieve the competitiveness as they are not subjected to personal feeling and scrutiny as compared to healthcare advertisement which need to be sensitive, take care of various human feeling which is very hard, and ensure uniformity of the information for the people the care for. Every changes or modification in health sector needs to incorporate the feeling or opinion of the client from a personal point of view as compared to the changes in manufacturing which can be implemented indirectly without much scrutiny or crisis. As we understand that every human being has difference in feeling perception and opinion in various aspects of our lives. The opinion or perspective of individual A is different from the opinion of individual C, D and E among others. In healthcare scoter the organization or nurses needs to developed a personalized interventions as people behave or react to treatment different and uniquely hence development of standardization as compared to manufacturing cannot work completely. Some people may welcome the changes or intervention positively while other may start to show attitudes, negative feeling and moods which the social worker needs to adjust and treat them with personalized strategy for their own best interest. With this in mind it’s very difficult to standardize the practices or healthcare operations as they adjust or moved by each patient in their own ways hence lack of consistency and later failure of service provision (Taylor et al, 2013). Based on the diverse economic levels of the people in the society standardization of health care can be very difficult to accomplish as people for high end or rich levels will need to be treated in high specialized and equipped facility as compared to the less fortunate people ion the society. In addition to that people have a different spiritual and religious belief which plays a very important role in the provision of the services in healthcare sector. Healthcare provider or social workers need to incorporate the diverse spiritual dimension in the provision of services to the patient effectively while this is not sensitive in the manufacturing sector. This makes standardizations more complex and impossible to implement in the health sector as there cannot be uniformity in service provisions for people believing in different dimension. In manufacturing sector this is also present but they are not subjected to beliefs, ideology and some spiritual connection as compared to the health care services which is very personal (Nambiar et al, 2013). In manufacturing sector some things are constant and cannot be changed across the globe which makes standardization more effective in this sector. All healthcare facilities need to ensure that the staffs are trained and their working condition is developed to match other international hospital in order to achieve standardization. Keeping in mind the high human opposition to standardization within and across diverse cultures in addition to diversity and multi-contextual temperament of health concern the process of providing equal working environment and practices is very hard and almost to impossible as compared to manufacturing which is nor subjected to much resistance. The working condition is affected by diverse factor including demography, location, and size of population, poor or rich among others. For instance the standards of a hospital in Beverly Hills where people are rich cannot be compared with a hospital in Haiti or North Korea where poverty and other factors including the size affect the service delivery. Furthermore, the lack of qualified healthcare professional equally distributed across the globe is another factor that inhibits the standardization as compared to other manufacturing sector where only few qualified individuals are needs to control and monitor the machines or low skilled workers. Healthcare needs every person to be very keen and qualified as they deal with people lives as compared to manufacturing where computerized machines can do most of the work effectively limiting the number of qualified people in the plant. In addition global disparities in service measures that make it complicated to regulate set of rules, and the apprehension that if systems turn out to be too standardized, performance becomes routine or automatic and presents false guarantee that threats are being reduced when dealing with lives. For instance people in the manufacturing sector can get people who are not very qualified and train them effectively which is hard in healthcare as practices is a calling also they have to pass some certification as they deal with lives. As healthcare sector deals with provision of high quality and safe services to the patient, its imperative for the organization to facilitate more creativity and innovation that will enable saving of lives and provision of better services (World Health Organization, 2008). The insight that standardization provides minimum satisfactory principles that might restrict the search of innovation and creativity in the sector also makes it hard for it to take root in health care. Even though the manufacturing sector also may feel the drag back in the innovations the impacts is more on the health sector as we are speaking about lives and health conditions of people. Conclusion

Standardization comes with a lot of benefits in the organization including the ability to coordinate effective and develop strategies that facilitates safety and quality services to the customer. Also Standardization can be integrated into the architectural blueprint of hospital amenities, as well as its technology and apparatus to offer the uppermost level of security and quality services. Despite the benefits, the principle used in incorporating standardization in manufacturing sector cannot be used in the healthcare sector due to various aspects including diverse customer preferences, economic, social, and religious and above all the need to personalized or self-centered interventions mechanism which is effective in health care provision.
