the patient is from corona regional medical hospital, she is 26 G1p1 , she just had a vaginal baby at 38 weeks gestation. she is pale, anemic and postive for amphetamine. history no prenatal hiostory and no insurance . no family. friends only .
baby is in nursery and taken from the mother because the baby is having withdrawls from postive amphetamine in his system. mother does not care only wants to sleep and wants to leave the hospital before discharge.
baby is being taken to NICU and will be taken away from the family. social service has seen her and talked to her she lives in a homeless shelter.

she is in post partum.
