Having an effective framework with which to define and guide future decisions and behavior is paramount when it comes to strategic planning and marketing. Mission statements provide the organization with direction and guidance. In this discussion you will differentiate between and closely analyze the values, vision, and mission statements of a particular health care organization.
By the way, you may be interested to learn that the first mission statement above is from a motorcycle club, Black Out Ryders; the second is from a hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, in Baltimore, Maryland.

· Research and select a health care organization in your area. Locate values, vision, and mission statements for your chosen health care organization.
Post by Day 4 a brief description of the health care organization that you selected. Provide a link to that health care organization’s values, vision, and mission statements. Then assess if and how the values expressed are reflected in the vision and mission statements. Finally, propose changes to the values, vision, and mission statements that you feel would improve the health care organization’s performance.
