As you summarize Galton’s nature-nurture controversy and how you see this as remaining controversial now, he proposed that there is a definite nature side of the debate. In short, he deemed a hereditary view of one’s intelligence. He aligned one’s cognitive ability with one’s genetic or inborn gifts.
