In my opinion, work ethic is more an internal factor than an age-specific factor or a job-related issue. Why do I say this? I say this because any aspect of ethics is primarily governed by education and culture. A ten-year old can have a greater work ethic than 25-year adult. Again, someone working at McDonalds can have a greater work ethic than a doctor with a Ph.D. or an M.D.
