To prepare for this Discussion, think of a work-related or a personal project with which you were directly involved that underwent multiple changes and/or for which you encountered multiple challenges throughout its duration in terms of budget, costs, schedule, resources (including human resources such as staffing/the key people involved with you in the project), risk, quality, and/or scope. Consider how this project was managed in the context of the traditional methodology that was presented throughout this course. Then, reflect on the perspectives on agile project management methodology that were presented in this week’s Learning Resources.
By Day 4, post a comprehensive response to the following:

Describe the project. What was the purpose of the project and what was the nature of your involvement with it? Who were the other key people involved with project (i.e., the project team) and what were their respective responsibilities?

What were the changes or challenges that you encountered during the course of the project? How did you use traditional methodology to address/manage these changes or challenges?

Explain your reasoning in the context of traditional project management methodology as detailed by the Project Management Institute in the PMBOK Guide.

How could you have applied agile methodology to managing this project? Provide at least two specific examples of how agile methodology could have been applied to the project.

Do you think that the agile approaches would have helped you manage the project better than the traditional approaches that were actually taken? Why or why not?
