Set the situation in its context — fit with strategic plans and objectives; relation to best practice across the world; stakeholder analysis
· Aims and Objectives
Aim — desired long term outcome.
Objectives — the project will achieve these
· Options Appraisal including financial analysis
o Identify options — one is ‘no change’; need two to three others
o Outline the options
o Option appraisal – >3 options: financials; benefits; risk and sensitivity analysis
· Implementation and evaluation plan
o Gantt chart and commentary
o How the project success will be measured and when (links to SMART objectives)
· Summary recommendations
