David is a 7-year old boy who has been diagnosed with ADHD or Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. ADHD is a neurobehavioral disorder that is marked by episodes of inattention and the extremes of hyperactivity and impulsiveness. The DSVM-IV-TR dictates that symptoms can be observed prior to the age of 7.
